Squeee! Squeee! Squeee! I've always loved the Bella/Rosalie dynamic... and now we get to see it up close and personal (in this person's yellow living room.) I'm a little nervous about the fact that from what I can see of Kristen Stewart's reactions, this might as well be a scene from New Moon... but we'll reserve judgment until Eclipse comes out. (Except Jenn D. She'll have plenty to say, I'm sure. LOL)

Oh, boy...where to start? I cannot reserve judgement because, really, haven't we all seen enough of KStew as Bella to know just how twitchy, wooden and awful this will be? While all the other characters have developed thru-out the series (and Nikki was great, I think), KStew as Bella is the only one that remains 1 dimensional for me. Its as if she just phones it in...

I think Nikki Reed looks great as a blonde! and JeDeCe- You are so right about Kristin! And another thing I dislike about the movies vs the books is that the Bella and Edward dynamic is always sooooo dramatic! C'mon! They were sarcastic and fun in the books!

THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING SINCE TWILIGHT CAME OUT IN THE MOVIES! Thank god someone GETS IT. Bella and Edward had FUN together! Bella was FUNNY. She was endearing and she was so much more tough than what is portrayed in the movies. It's mind-boggling why Edward would even like her (or why people would like the films if they haven't read the books!) You'd think he'd be attracted to her blood but then go "But you're annoying and all you do is pout and breathe funny" and dump her ass for Jessica with the big hooters!!!!!!!!!

Random thoughts:
I will say that New Moon was not a book that I want to re-read (who wants to read a book without Edward?) BUT, the movie version was so much better than the first movie: Twilight. And even though I'm team Edward, I loved me some werewolf abs! And, I CAN NOT wait for Eclipse! I think that it’s crazy that Bryce Howard is replacing Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria!
Did anyone watch Glee last night? "My parents won't even let me watch Twilight; my mom says she thinks Kristen Stewart seems like a bitch." ROFLMAO.
Megs - I thought I commented about this but my comment is nowhere to be found. I have friends who love Harry Potter. I have threatened to read it before. Know what my only problem is? I am a sucker for romance. I don't know if I'd be pulled toward Harry Potter the way I was with Twilight and Outlander.
I know I'm an exception to the rule... but I liked the Twilight movie better than New Moon. I think New Moon lost some of the soul that Twilight had... when it comes to the relationship between Bella and Edward. Then again - Edward was gone the whole time so I can see why it was hard... but I dunno. I have watched Twilight a zillion times... whereas I've only watched New Moon twice since I got the video.
I'll tell you this much: I can't WAIT for Eclipse. When the newborns walk out of the water? It looks AWESOME. And totally agreed on the Rachelle Lefevre replacement. No matter who it was - was a bad move. I just don't get it at all. Rachelle WAS Victoria. End of story!!

Same thing here...have watched Twilight over and over...New Moon 2 times at home...They just cut to much of the relationship between Edward and Bella out of it...after the Voluturi was my all time fav part of all the books...waiting to go home...stealing looks and touches...her not waking up...would rather dream...thinking re-read myself before Eclipse comes out!
I read and watched all Harry's...good series...like Lord of the rings better though....
Tracey C - ME TOO!! Bella sitting on Edward's lap when they were still waiting to leave the Volturri. The plane ride where Edward was telling Bella not to have too much coke and she was trying so hard to stay awake. The car ride home from the airport. It was all SO GOOD. Classic Bella and Edward. Here was the problem with the movie: After all that build up of Edward being gone, there was NO reunion. They just hugged and kissed and got in a fight with Feeeeelix... and then they were back and had a 30 second chat in her bedroom. The whole premise of the book was OMITTED. And you know why? Because a GUY directed it.. and got way too caught up in the fight scene and perfect visuals. And frankly, I don't expect any of the romance to truly be portrayed properly from here on out because all the directors are men. NOTHING against male directors... but I just don't think they care enough about (or even understand) the Bella/Edward dynamic that makes the books so enjoyable to females. And let's face it, females make up most of the Twilight loving population.
True, true! The reason we will go to the movies, buy the soundtracks, buy the DVDs (deluxe version), is for the sake of the story we know from the books. Also totally agree with you Carol about the "added" fight scene between Felix and Edward. Has no one read the books?! One of the reasons Edward is so unbeatable in a fight is that he can READ THE MIND of the person trying to fight him, and therefore avoid being thrashed!
THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU Stacey!!! SO TRUE!!! I don't think they've made enough at ALL of the fact that Edward can read minds. How the HELL do you just IGNORE/OMIT that fact??? I love the books and therefore I will see the movies happily... but it really ticks me off that they just omitted that fact in New Moon. God - THANKS. I really never put my finger on that... but it's true! They just totally blew off Edward's power!!!
