Last minute "Required (Twi)Reading"

My sister, Jill, reading the tail end of Breaking Dawn about an hour before my 100 Days til New Moon party started:

New Moon Ambiance

Pretty cool, eh? I got these on Ebay. When I have a few minutes, I'll post the info if you want to order some of your very own. They rock. Wait. What does that one on the right say? Oh that's right. MY TWILIGHT PURGATORY, Baby!

It's not my birthday. But can I ask for something? Kiss me.

Teen Cheese Awards

OK so while Tom was asleep on the couch next to me I decided to just check FOX and see what was happening on the awards. Oddly enough, Josh Duhamel was introducing the cast of Twilight. Wow. Just... wow. It was an odd ensem. The first thing I noticed was Justin Chon - aka Eric ("La Push baby... La Push"). I noticed him because boyfriend was wearing a short sleeved shirt, a scarf around his neck and black Buddy Holly glasses. And what I'm noticing in this video from the awards is a new Rob Pattinson Patented hairdo which he runs his hands through no less than twice while speaking. That seems to be the thing to do these days. At any rate, my sister refers to him lovingly as Bobby Trendy - and the title just seemed to suit him well this evening. Anyway, they all got up to accept the award, and as usual, Taylor Lautner sounded like he was running the show. Totally professional. Now here's where it gets weird. When I watched it on TV, Rob Pattinson sounded like a complete dope. Like he couldn't think of what to say and was laughing at inappropriate times. Yet when I watched this clip from the BBC News site, I realized they cut up his speech. So we only saw the beginning - and the end - but it seemed like he just didn't know what to say. So yeah...I'm thinking I'd be mad if I were him. I'm also thinking someone in Teen Choice Editing isn't too much of a fan...

Breaking Dawn Hilarity

My comedian sister, Jill, is reading Breaking Dawn... and just referred to Bella and Edward's daughter as "RENESMERELDA".

:::DIES:::

Laurens-bit the dust?!

OK I just went to check Laurensbite - AND IT WASN'T THERE! I admit, I haven't checked it in a few days, so if she said she was pulling it down, I don't know anything about it. I checked her Twitter page and that's gone, too!!! SOB! She's my absolute favorite Twilight site on the planet (and lord knows there are many.)

If anyone knows what's going on with Laurensbite, please let me know! :(

Twilight wins BIG at the Teen Choice Awards

NICE. Twilight won 11 Teen Choice Awards last night (big shocker.) The awards air tonight on FOX so they'll have 24 hours to bleep out Britney and Madonna, but it's not necessary for the Jonas Brothers, gosh darnit. SET THE DVRs!

Let's get this party STARTED!

So check it out - many cast members are in Vancouver already for Eclipse and you can feel the lurve jump right off the web page! I hate to say it, but it's somewhat refreshing to see the rest of the Cullen clan (as well as Riley and Miss new thang Bryce Howard who looks awesome) - WITHOUT Rob and Kristen. These people deserve their rightful comeuppance. There is more to the Twilight series than Edward Cullen. (ROFLMAO did I just say that???) A big THANK YOU goes out to Alison Genet over at Twifans for the awesome post. And PS - I am so, so sorry Rachelle. I love you and I miss you as Victoria. I truly do. You were ROBBED and I hope you don't take this shit lying down. Not only am I upset for you, but I'm upset for me and everyone else in the Twilgiht blogosphere. It's uncomfortable to keep saying "I dig Bryce but I miss the hell out of Rachelle". Bottom line - I dig Bryce - but Rachelle IS Victoria. No further comment, your honor.

I am so not kidding..

My sister and I had a debate today, which started over email and ended in a phonecall. We were actually discussing - get this - whether or not Edward Cullen would ever go commando. No, I am so not kidding. It started because my sister, Jill, is feverishly reading Breaking Dawn so she can come to my "100 Days til New Moon" party on Wednesday. Here's how it all went down:

Tracey: Are you still reading????
Jill: They're on Esme Island
Me: Oh mother of god.... to merely be the tree he leaves his undies on when he goes for the moonlight swim...
Tracey: How long have they been there???
Me: "a while..." ;)
Tracey: Undies??? MY Edward goes commando.
Me: Edward Cullen is way too high brow to go without undies. He knows his real mother would be mortified if he didn't wear any - and he would have ended up mocked on the Chicago society pages if it was ever found out. PS - Ok then his PANTS he hung over the tree branch!

I just thank god I'm not alone in my Edward Cullen obsession.

Vampires. They're not just for breakfast anymore!

I received a very cool email today from Van Jensen who has written a new vampire graphic novel called Pinocchio: Vampire Slayer. It's coming out in September and the main graphic is in our favorite Twi-colors. (Sounds like my decor for my "100 Days til New Moon" party. ooh another gratuitous mention!) Sooo...for all of you who dig graphic novels about vampires, you'll definitely want to check this out!

My Eclipse playlist needs some explanation

So I know I only have 3 songs. But I couldn't wait. I had to post it. I'm impatient like that. All the actors are headed to - or in - Vancouver. And I am a giddy little girl.

OK so I just finished telling Jenn M via email that I am loving Ray LaMontagne right now. And it's no coincidence that his style makes me think of RPattz' musical style. When I was on vacation, I was trying to get my internet connection to work, and OK maybe saying a bad word or two under my breath. When all the sudden I heard a song on a commercial on TV and whipped my head around to stare. I swear I thought I was hearing Rob Pattinson. But I wasn't; I was hearing Ray LaMontagne. And that's when I started researching his music and realizing "Holy CRAP this guy is good." Since I'm only happy when it rains (Thank you Shirley Manson and Garbage) I absolutely love the pain that comes through in his music. OK so I'll shut up because some of you are saying "What in god's name does this have to do with Twilight?!" But I LOVE his song "Burn" and put it on my Eclipse soundtrack from Edward's perspective, while Bella's trotting around La Push with Jacob. And kissing him in the forest. Don't get me started. But check out the lyrics:

To see you now with him
is just making me mad
Oh so kiss him again
just to prove to me that you can
an I will stand here
and burn in my skin
Yes I will stand here
and burn in my skin

Mother of god. It's like Edward just jumps out of the page and cries on your shoulder when you're listening to this. Le sigh. I think I need to read the saga all the damn hell over again now. Not even Sookie can save me! ;)

A little something about My Eclipse Playlist

Yes, I do mean to have both versions of "Ain't No Sunshine". One for Edward when Bella is at the bonfire with Jacob. And one for Bella when Edward's hunting and she's laying in the dark in his room on his couch. I get chills just thinking about this. And as much as I love the Bill Withers version, how about a ROB PATTINSON version?!?

That would be... awesome. (said like Jim Carrey)

Fabu New Moon Trailer

Feast thine eyes on this New Moon trailer from "Sanyiaa" on Youtube. Better than the real one!

Major delving...

I swear I don't know if I'll make it through this movie unscathed.
1st, read this article. Then go and read the last paragraph in my blog post from April.

Then come to my house bearing tissues and slap me across the face and yell "SNAP OUT OF IT!!!"

It's ON!!!

OK this photo and story from newmoonmovie.org about Kristen Stewart getting prepped (physical, wig-fitting) to head to Vancouver for Eclipse filming made me SQUEEEEE like the silly fanchick I am (fangirl is a little too kind considering my age). And look at her! She's smiling! SMILING! .... KSTEW! No more Joan-tude! No more dark clothes! It's a brand new day.

Hardwicke vs Weitz; Who got it right?

Thanks to A. Luper and newmoonmovie.org, we have this cool new comparison of the Twilight vs New Moon visuals. (You MUST click the link to see it larger. You'll thank me in the morning.) The photos on the left are from Twilight and the photos on the right are from New Moon. What do you think? Who got it right? Not "Which photo looks better?" but "Who got it RIGHT?" Here's what I think:

Victoria: Twilight - she looks too 5th Ave in the New Moon shot.
Esme: New Moon - she looks too Gidget in the Twilight shot.
Laurent: New Moon - he doesn't look sinister enough in Twilight - just, aggro. And his coloring is way better in the New Moon shot.
Bella: Twilight - she looks too Kristen Stewart in the New Moon shot.
Edward: NEW MOON!! Clap hands! Squeee! Luvs it luvs it luvs it!! He looks very high brow like Edward Cullen SHOULD look. We all know how I feel about his ridiculous "scary" look in Twilight. As if a Volvo and two medical degrees could be scary. Snicker.
Jacob: New Moon. Two different looks for two different faces of his character, so it was close.
Alice: I like each for each. She looks a little wifty for her intro of "was in a psyche ward" in Twilight.... and she looks perfect for her "lover of all things Prada" persona in New Moon.
Rosalie: Neither. First - Nikki Reed is gorgeous as a brunette in "real life". I've always maintained I like her moxie - and her portrayal of Rosalie. But she's not blonde and she's wigrific in New Moon. I've just never been able to embrace her as the character no matter how hard they try to make her look the part. I agree whole-heartedly with whomever said she would have made a great Victoria.
Jasper: Yikes. The photos are both bad. Jackson Rathbone has a truly beautiful face (see that episode of Criminal Minds for confirmation). Neither photo does him justice.
Emmett: New Moon - he looks more menacing and vampirific. The Twilight shot looks like his yearbook football photo.
Carlisle: New Moon. HOT HOT HOT. Much less Ward Cleaver, which is what the Twilight shot looks like.

My thanks to M'GIRL Jenn M. for bringing this to my attention. This was one of the most fun blog posts I've ever worked on. :)

The Edward Strikes Back?

OK this is a little strange. NewMoonMovie.org is reporting that there is a total rumor about Breaking Dawn being made into a three part trilogy. I have read previously that Stephenie Meyer even said she thought it should be made into multiple films. But three? That's an interesting concept to ponder. Again - total rumor - I am so not "reporting" anything here.

Here's a quote I am not overly thrilled with:
There will likely be quite a bit of tweaking to the novel due to the explicit sex and birth scenes to avoid an R rating.

I don't like the word "tweaking" in this case. No way. The book is the book. The story is the story. Trying to avoid an R rating is something I find really upsetting. Ya know, as a more mature Twilight fan, I have had to endure a different Volvo... dark clothes on Edward... an attempt at "Dark and Scary Edward" ("AS IF I WOULD NEED ANY OF THATTTT")... and lots of strange fashions from Bella (girls, leave your converse at home while attending the prom) - all so they can pander to the teen market. Clearly they weren't expecting the onslaught of 30 and 40-somethings who love these books. And now they've made a weird one-dimensional, shooting practice-esque Edward for New Moon... so the teens can get their fill of Robert Pattinson....even though Bella only heard Edward's (velvet) voice in the book. (Which is an insult to teens, btw, I think they can handle only hearing Edward's voice. The whole point of him being gone is that. HE'S GONE. It makes the reunion so much better because you haven't SEEN Edward in so long). OK, whatev - I'll deal. But come on. Changing anything about Breaking Dawn so they can get a younger rating? That doesn't sit well with me. That birth scene is intense! It's raw! It's full of emotion! How do you tweak it for a less-mature audience?! Ugh. OK I'll shut up now because a) it's a rumor and b) I'll give myself agida.

*Thanks to newmoonmovie.org for the info and the WAY COOL photo.

Prepare to hallucinate.

Ready for your Close-up?

I would be lying my rear end off if I didn't admit that I LOVE this cool new Twilight Makeup line that I just read about on Amanda Bell's Twilight Examiner. There are two kinds to choose from, Luna Twilight and Volturi Twilight. A slightly giddy giggle escaped from my mouth when I saw the Volturi logo. Squee! I must own this stuff! (Fangirl, party of 1? The beach! The truck!)

Great RPattz Photos - A Purgatory EXCLUSIVE!

My sister's friend (who is in the media) snapped these after the MTV awards last month. I love the one with his hands on his neck. You know he's freaked out by all the fans. Well Clarice, have the lambs stopped screaming?

He said / She said

This Rachelle Lefevre thing is really heating up. Apparently there are now lawyers involved. Yesterday, Rachelle issued a statement that she was well within her contract when she signed on to do an indie flick during the filming of Eclipse - which would have taken 10 days to film. Summit issued a statement saying that was BS and they weren't informed about her other engagement until well into July. Hmmm.... Either way - I like her a lot and it kindof sucks she won't be in Eclipse. They ousted her - plain and simple. And she has really earned the right to be in this film after a stellar performance in Twilight - and all the promoting she's done over the past two years. BUT - flip side - I'm thinking she shouldn't have issued that statement. As much as she's trying to let the world (and the Twilight community, of which I am a proud, Edward Cullen-loving member) know what really went down, I fear she's going to get a bad rap with the Hollywood community for dissing Daddy. Just my .02.

*Thanks to aceshowbiz.com for the photo.

Direct quote from Nikki Reed

"Rob is sort of feminine looking and I think young girls like boys that look like women," she said.

OUCH!!!! Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Dear Rob, SHUT UP! Love, Carol

Ugh this is bad. Robert Pattinson needs to SHUT IT!!! When are these actors' PR people going to friggin SCHOOL THEM on acting appropriately with the media??? Let's review. Stephenie Meyer has had the top 4 spots on the sales charts for the past 6 months with the 4 Twilight saga books. Why? I'll tell you why. Because the world LOVES EDWARD CULLEN. And the one person in this world we look to for a VISUAL of Edward Cullen is Rob Pattinson. And what does he do? He TRASHES Edward Cullen. Stupid stupid stupid.

Can anyone tell me why both Kristen Stewart AND Robert Pattinson insist on offending Twilight fans? Please? PRETTY PLEASE? Cuz I sure can't figure it out.

BETTER New Moon Italy scene

Wow I know I posted this already but this is WAY better video quality. You can see Edward the second he appears and the expression on his face. McSIGH. You truly must watch again (and again and again and again and....)

Bye Bye Rachelle Lefevre??? Hello BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD as Victoria in Eclipse?!

HOLY ^%$#!!!! I don't even know how to feel about this! I will miss Rachelle because I thought she was Awe-some with a capital A. But I really like Bryce Dallas Howard. I canNOT help but wonder if this was a force-out. Bryce Dallas has those eerie eyes. I wonder if the studio thought she'd have more of an impact? Wow. I wonder if they would do that for any of the other actors. (Oh hush. We've ranked on the girl enough this week. ;)

From the Summit website (which could use some major work IMO):

Actress Rachelle Lefevre Will Be Replaced By Howard In The Role Of Victoria

Los Angeles, CA July 28, 2009 — Summit Entertainment announced today that Bryce Dallas Howard will take over the role of "Victoria" in the studio's upcoming production of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. Actress, Rachelle Lefevre, who portrayed the character in TWILIGHT as well as the upcoming release of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, will not continue in the role due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment the actor has made. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE will start filming in Vancouver this coming August.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third film in the studio's TWILIGHT film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster book series, will be directed by David Slade from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg. The film will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

"We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise," said Erik Feig, Summit's President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions. "Rachelle brought "Victoria" to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."

Howard most recently starred in TERMINATOR SALVATION as Kate Connor and has been seen in SPIDER-MAN 3, LADY IN THE WATER, and THE VILLAGE. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her leading performance as an actress in the HBO film AS YOU LIKE IT.

The New Moon soundtrack is coming!

New Moon soundtrack in stores October 13th! (insert nervous, giddy laughter here) Check out the official info!!

And so it begins...

So I was just joking with Maggie - my way cool, Twilight-digging neighbor, friend and babysitter extraordinaire - about having to start planning my "Eclipse" party after the "100 Days til New Moon" party is over. (Run on sentence, party of 1?) And afterward I got online and discovered the yummy new Eclipse page on newmoonmovie.org. And I got a little giddy. I swear - it's pathetic. New Moon still has 114 days to come out and already I'm movin' on to Eclipse. I suppose it's a new beginning of sorts. A new movie where maybe things will be different. Like Jacob will be more brooding. Edward will be less pissy. And Bella might actually smile. (Nah. Doubt it on that last one.)

Kevin Smith talks Twilight & New Moon at Comic-Con

I. Love. Kevin. Smith. And since I live at the Jersey shore - not far from Red Bank - I pretty much support everything he does. (Well I wasn't too jazzed about the donkey but the overwhelming amount of Kevin Smith goodness out there negated it.) WARNING - bad language abounds in this clip. So please don't watch if you'll be offended... or if I know your parents and they'll be pissed at me at the next town council meeting. ;)

"Giving an interview 101"

The following is an email from my sister, Tracey (who might be a Purgatory commentator if I can get her to agree.) She is RIGHT ON THE MONEY with this. If you're not already watching "True Blood" or reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels, what are you waiting for?

KStew and RPattz--please watch the following video. This is how subjects of a pop culture phenomenon SHOULD act toward the press. Please take notes, as there will be a test later. (Taylor, you performed well the other day and are excused from class.)

And tonight, on a very special New Moon special...

I don't know how to feel about this...

Know why I find this rather interesting?

I came across this little diddy about Rob Pattinson auditioning for Twilight because he dug Kristen Stewart... and I found it interesting. Not because I give a shit whether they're shagging or not. But because Kristen Stewart - the girl with the worst attitude on the planet when it comes to interviews - was picked to be Bella before anyone else was cast. She had major influence about who would play Edward. How is that POSSIBLE? What was she, 16 at the time? This was a major motion picture and they left decisions like that to a kid? And it's not that I don't realize how insightful teens can be. Just the other day, my 13 year old niece Megan said "I don't know why they picked Kristen Stewart to play Bella. She never smiles and she always looks annoyed. Bella's a fun girl. She laughs and she's funny! I don't get it." Well, Meg, I don't get it either. I am tired of dancing around this topic and trying to be nice. IT'S TRUE. Kristen Stewart never smiles while playing Bella Swan! I don't know if it was her decision - or bad direction - but SOMEBODY has got to make Bella smile once in a while. It's completely unbelievable that anyone would like her in the slightest. And believe me - I will understand if she doesn't smile too much in New Moon. I mean, DUH. She was miserable during most of the book. But come ON people. Ugh can you tell I'm still tres annoyed after her Comic-Con antics last week? I'm just utterly disgusted and I don't know if it's going to go away any time soon...

Soundtrack news

Man all the good stuff happens when I go away. I should have had this up days ago. Muse, Radiohead (or just Thom Yorke?), and the new Brit band "Band of Sculls" are confirmed for the New Moon soundtrack. Stay tuned...

Saturday, July 25, 2009

For a minute there, I was literally too choked up to type.

I can't even fangirl because I'm in tears. New Moon is my favorite book in the series. Forget the actors... forget the hype. It's the heart-wrenching story that I'm drawn to. Edward leaving just grabs ahold of my heart like some kind of vise... and puts it on immediate lock-down. Seeing him again through Bella's eyes just makes me cry. And much kudos to Rob Pattinson because it looks like he's ridiculously believable as Edward Cullen in this movie. I'd love to hear his reasons for being able to dig down and really feel Edward's pain in New Moon, thus portraying him so well. Maybe if his costars would let him SPEAK in interviews, I'd be able to find out.

Cartoon Edward

Oh man. ohmanohmanohman. I don't know. I don't KNOW. I don't think I like the weird, see-through, hallucinatory Edward. I don't really go for them changing the book in the first place. But look at him! It's like she's passing my cardboard cutout Edward!! He's like... one-dimensional. And it's so weird the way she passes him and then they show him again while she's still moving... almost like an old episode of the Flinstones where Fred was running and passed the same plant 17 times. I just... argh! I don't know!!! PS - I'll tell you one thing I know: Taylor Lautner is going to steal this movie. Mark my words. It's going to be an even playing field on November 20st. Guaranteed.

Roses are red... Violets are blue... Dear Kstew... IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT YOU!

I'm not sure, but this might be THE most annoying interview I've ever had the misfortune of TRYING to watch. Every - and I mean EVERY time Rob Pattinson tries to talk, Kristen Stewart makes fun of him to Ashley Greene and it clearly makes him so uncomfortable he stops what he's saying. I am dumbfounded. Dear Kristen - as much as I like hearing what you have to say, I also like hearing what THE REST OF THE CAST is TRYING to say, too. Please SHUT THE EF UP. Thankssomuch, Carol.

My take on Comic-con:

Sex, Lies and Videotape

OK you know what? Kstew is losing my affections - FAST. Here is what I just emailed Jenn M about my thoughts on her appearance below: "And I don't care if she's jet lagged - or still in Joan character - or just plain constipated. That was bad stage presence and her "people" should have told her to conduct herself otherwise." I believe I also said something to the effect of "Dear Shark Boy, This movie could make or break your career. If I were you, I'd growl. I'd growl all damn day. And I'd like it. Your pal, Carol "

Comic Controversy

This - in a word - rules. Make sure to read the LA times article and read the comments. Priceless. Here's the deal. As much as I feel for these kids who slept overnight to get a good spot - and totally agree with them that people should not be able to cut their spot in line - they need to PIPE THE HELL DOWN about 40 year old women being too old to enjoy Twilight. (Does anyone know how to cast some type of crows feet spell? I'm right now on Book 4 of the Sookie Stackhouse series, and I'm all about the spells.)

WAY cool New Moon photo!

Check it. Alice. Bella. Jacob. The couch. The "omg Aliceeeee" scene. (Click the picture, yo. It gets bigger. And Chris Weitz is in the big one. Srsly.)

I. Love. It. Is Alice's outfit not PERFECTION??? Exactly how I pictured them ALL. This is one of my absolute favorite scenes in the book. Having Alice show up after all that time was almost as good as finding Edward. Almost.

OK so I'm on vaca and having some internet issues so please FORGIVE me for not blogging more often. And if I miss your comments I promise I will respond when I get back!!

No WAY!

My other sister's Edward

So I've mentioned my sister, Tracey is a Twi-dweeb like me. But I haven't mentioned that my other sister - Jill - is also reading the series. She is almost finished "New Moon" (thank you LORD).. and will be starting Eclipse soon so she can finish all four and attend my "100 Days til New Moon" party next month. So anyway... I was a little worried about her interest... but she calls me tonight, and she's all excited, and she blurts out "I found my Edward!" She then proceeds to tell me to go watch the following video of Adam Lambert from American Idol singing "Mad World" from Tears for Fears. She's like "Look at the coat! Look at the fog! He's totally vampire! He even told Ryan Seacrest he was going for a Twilight look!" (Hell even Randy Jackson's yelling "Twilight" while Simon is talking. ) I noted the Fangirl in her voice. Tremendous. And so ladies and gents, it begins. Yet another person is getting hooked. On MY brand of heroin. It's almost sinister the way I love turning people to the dark side....

So what do you think? Edwardesque?

Jimmy Fallon amuses me.

Check out this video from Jimmy Fallon's show where he does a parody of Rob Pattinson and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) sparring with each other about their movies. The outtakes at the end are hi-LAR-i-ous. The Bella blowup doll is my favorite. Enjoy.

Fresh NEW MOON dirt!

How is it POSSIBLE that I could have read this entire (friggin awesome) MTV interview with Chris Weitz before I noticed THIS MOVIE STILL IS NEW!!!!! I am soooo FANGIRL right now!!!! The BEACH!! The TRUCK!!!

The release of "New Moon" is still roughly four months away, and if you're impatiently tapping your foot as much as we are, we might have an antidote. HitFix recently sat down with "New Moon" director Chris Weitz and got him to spill on the sequel — from soundtrack songs to the film within a film "Face Punch." Here's a brief synopsis of his remarks (POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD):

-Chris is about two weeks away from sending a director's cut of "New Moon" to the studio. He has to have a final cut of the movie ready by, fittingly enough, the day before Halloween (Oct. 30).
-Chris will debut a few new scenes this month at Comic-Con 2009 in San Diego.

-The CGI shot of the wolf from the trailer that premiered during the MTV Movie Awards has gone through 20-30 iterations since, likely to make it look more realistic.
-New potential candidates for the soundtrack include Thom Yorke and Kings of Leon.
-Chris' favorite scene to film was the sequence at Volturi headquarters.
-About the look of the Volturi's lair Chris said, "The first thing I wanted to do was put them in a setting that wasn't Dracula's castle. I feel like that's been done. There have been so many vampire movies and werewolf movies and horror movies where everything has been dark and dreary and everything is blue or green or something like that. Instead, their headquarters is surprisingly light and crisp."
-There will be a proposal scene. I repeat: There will be a proposal scene.
-Though sadly, we won't get to see "Face Punch" the movie within a movie Michael Welch told us about last month. No actual scenes were filmed for it, so movie-goers will only hear the sounds of the faux film.
- Will Chris come back "Breaking Dawn" as fans have been hoping? "I think it's really charming that having not seen 'New Moon' people would be enthusiastic about me wanting to do 'Breaking Dawn,'" he told HitFlix. "That's really -- y'know I think the proof is in the pudding and they should see it before they decide there is anything else they want me to do. But I would hope to earn that kind of rumor. We haven't really spoken with Summit about that."

What do you think about these new "New Moon" details? Do they make you even more excited to see the film come November 20?

When I can speak again, I'll definitely throw a big, ol' YES out there as my final answer.

A-MA-ZING article.

I don't know what impressed me more. Katie Bain's tremendous article on Hollywood.com entitled "15 Things I Learned about Rob Pattinson on the New Moon set", with a complete play-by-play of her day on the New Moon set... Or the fact that she got to spend the day(s?) lurking around the New Moon set. Clearly writing for a large publication - online or off - has its' benefits. Maybe I should quit my day job...

I am so fan-girling right now!!!

First, I saw this AMAZING picture and got giddy. Then, I read this tremendous LA Times article from Gina McIntyre and almost fell off my chair. You MUST go - right now - and read the article. It's fanTAStic. And it gives some really great insight into how they're going to insert Edward as a hallucination. It also gives you a great look inside Chris Weitz' mind regarding his adaptation of "New Moon".

GO. FORTH. AND. READ!

Check this out

Great article with video from Amanda over at Twilight Examiner. She's got video of Kellan and Ashley at a TwiTour appearance...(we'll be in Parsippany in August!) and a very cool and artsy video interview with Taylor Lautner.

Inhale. I'm having a Twi-moment.

So last week my sister suggested I submit my blog to Stepheniemeyer.com. I am all kinds of shy about it - probably because my Catholic upbringing pretty much drilled it into my head that everything I do basically sucks. But I digress. So anyway... I found some guts - and emailed Seth, Stephenie's brother and webmaster. And when I didn't get a response I figured they're closed to new links... or they think my blog is silly... etc, etc. Today, however, I happened upon stepheniemeyer.com via a google search for something Twilated... when what to my wandering eyes did appear but MY BLOG LINK - on Stephenie's website. So because of that I say THANK YOU, SETH!! and THANK YOU, STEPHENIE!! I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that my lil-ol blog link is on your fan sites page!!

TAKE A LOOK BELOW EVERYONE! My link is in green! PS - yes - you can see from my screen capture that I actually had to google how to do a screen capture. LOL

WAY cool New Moon footage

OK this is the most bloggable thing to come down the pike in a while. Check out this footage of Kstew and Ashley Greene filming the scene where Bella jumps out of the Porsche and starts running through Volterra. Very, very cool. I don't really get why she stops outside the car and yells "Where?" though. Wouldn't all those details have been worked out while driving through the streets? Whatev. I'm thrilled to see this. Makes me stoked for my "100 Days til New Moon" party in August and even MORE stoked for November 20th! Woot!

Why INDONESIA?!

Why do we have to wait for stuff like this...while Indonesians don't???
*Thanks Twifans!

Help me November 20th... you're my only hope!

Thank you TwilightMoms! Bok Bok!

Hi Edward.

Have you ever put Edward in your window when you were having a barbecue, just to freak out your friends? Cuz I have...

Funny shot

Love it. Ganked it from Laurens Bite. Her blog is my fav. Check it out because she went to Forks recently with her hub, Tedward, and has some key shots. Even the mushroom ravs in Port Angeles. As for RPattz - I have no comment for this photo, I just loved it and felt compelled to post it. (Forget the hands; I am captivated by the teeth.) At any rate, I'd love to hear your thoughts on possible captions...

Breaking Dawn and Dirty

Apparently Summit is confirming they are going to keep Breaking Dawn exactly how it is - a novel filled with grown-up stuff - when they film (this winter?) Which is a good thing because I NEED to see Robert Pattinson with feathers on his head. NEED IT! At any rate, you can take my word for it, or watch this ridiculously annoying video from Ted Casablanca, filled with absolutely NOTHING but a bit too much innuendo and includes more nothingness about Michael Jackson, Anna Farris and Tyra Banks. Yawn. And Ted's rendition of Mr. Rogers changing his clothes and putting on new shoes is old. Been there, seen that. Although I somehow don't remember Mr. Rogers actually coming out of the closet, do you?
